Equipment manufacturer J.H. Fletcher & Co. has appointed Gainwell Engineering as its authorized distributor in India, strengthening its commitment to the growing underground mining sector in the South Asian country.
Through this new distribution agreement, Indian mining companies will have direct access to Fletcher’s portfolio of underground mining equipment and OEM parts, backed by local sales, service and customer support.
“While our products are proudly manufactured in West Virginia, USA, the new partnership with Gainwell Engineering will allow for machines to be assembled locally in India,” said Francois Meintjes, Fletcher director of International Sales. “Combined with Gainwell’s inventory of Fletcher replacement parts, it has never been easier for our customers in India to access Fletcher’s full range of products.”
